Club Meetings
We meet every alternate Wednesday morning
and members generally arrive at around 10.00 am to get together with other members for a coffee/tea and biscuits. At 10.30 we have a talk from an invited speaker and this will be on any of a wide range of interesting subjects. Details of both previous and
future arranged talks are shown on the 'Speakers' page
Bowling/Snooker
A group of members meet on Monday and Thursday mornings at 10am at Timperley Village Club for a game of Bowls in summer and Snooker in winter. These are social events; many of the group had never played either Bowls or Snooker before. All members are invited
to join us, new players are always welcome.
Walking
On
Wednesday mornings, when there is not a meeting, a group of members go for a gentle 3 or up to 4 mile walk ending up with an enjoyable lunch at a nearby Pub. Other members simply join the walkers for the lunch element.
Genealogy
Interested members have met periodically to discuss any problems that they
may have encountered tracing their genealogy. There is no fixed agenda and
members can raise any subject so that they can benefit from other members knowledge and personal experience. It is a useful meeting for those wishing to start to trace their family history.
